Pastel by Charles Alexander, Wild Life Artist

I wanted to share with you the painting of my first three papillons. This is a lovely pastel by Charles Alexander,
Wildlife Conservationist and Nature Artist. My Nero's ears look pointed in this painting, but they are truly not. That is growth of hair off of the top of the ear, and I did not have it changed because I wanted to capture them in a very natural way.
Notice the big doggie smile on Cookie's face. He loves all of the dogs in our family and is Alpha among them. He rules with a velvet glove!!! lol. Libby is such a little athlete. She is gentle, but strong and amazing. Charles captured them so exactly. I love looking at the original, over my mantel, throughout the day.
