SHOW NEWS FOR OCTOBER 2007
Since our papillon puppy, Sky finished her Championship Title in Little Rock, we have only entered three shows. We are looking for a final major win on each of our two Italian Greyhounds. In Olive Branch, we took Reserves to Majors and at Monroe our girl Kameo was Reserve to Majors two of the three days we were there. We entered our Show in Memphis hoping for Majors, and Kameo went WB BOW BOS on Friday under judge Dr. Robert Smith. Our dog, Sachi went WD on Sunday, and our girl Kameo was Reserve that day. Unfortunately this was not a major, so we are still looking for those major wins! We are on our way to the Italian Greyhound National next week and are looking forward to meeting new people and having fun showing our dogs!

Pastel by Charles Alexander, Wild Life Artist

I wanted to share with you the painting of my first three papillons. This is a lovely pastel by Charles Alexander,
Wildlife Conservationist and Nature Artist. My Nero's ears look pointed in this painting, but they are truly not. That is growth of hair off of the top of the ear, and I did not have it changed because I wanted to capture them in a very natural way.
Notice the big doggie smile on Cookie's face. He loves all of the dogs in our family and is Alpha among them. He rules with a velvet glove!!! lol. Libby is such a little athlete. She is gentle, but strong and amazing. Charles captured them so exactly. I love looking at the original, over my mantel, throughout the day. If you are interested in his work, you can see more on his website. He can be reached at: bonoboartist@yahoo.com.
